PC TO STEREO

CONNECT YOUR PC TO YOUR STEREO

Did you know you can connect your computer to your stereo and listen to your digital music and movies through your stereo speakers? It also works with your MP3/MP4 player, iPhone, iPod, NANO, and pda with music capabilities. Do you have a collection of music and/or movies on your computer? Do you listen to that music while you are working on the computer? Do you wish you could listen th that collection anytime, like while cleaning house, doing laundry, etc etc? This is your solution. This offers great sound quality, instead of those little tinny sounding small computer speakers. Listening to your digital music from your computer through your stereo speakers sounds just like listening to a cd or the radio. You also get an extra volume boost because your computer media player has a volume control, your computer itself has a volume control and your stereo has it’s own volume control. That’s 3 different volume controls for super loud sound capabilities. I personally keep my media player volume as high as it can go, and the stereo at half volume and use the computer volume to control how loud I want it. Plus, if you have a keyboard with media function buttons you can control the volume without using the mouse. When watching your movies with this set-up, it’s like surround sound in a theater. Plus the soundtrack of the movie is superb quality sound. This is very easy to set up when you have the right equipment. You can use any available input on your stereo. In most cases the auxilary input is available, but you can use any of the cd, vcr, dvd, tuner or any other available inputs on your stereo. Then just change the selector to the right input and you are all set. You don’t need any special drivers or software. For the most part, it is plug and play. I have several different types of connections depending on how you want to set it up and what equipment you already have. All these different connections produce the same out come.

…………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….This is a 5 foot computer to stereo cable. The small male plug goes in the speaker port on the back of your computer. The red plug is for the right speaker input on your stereo, and the white plug is for the left speaker input on your stereo. This is the one you need if you don’t have any other cables or wires already, and don’t have to far to reach. You can add a female to female adapter and a regular stereo cable to reach farther distances.

This is  a 1 foot cable just like the one above. If you plan to go more than 5 feet, then this is what you need,  but you need another regular stereo cable  (red and white on both ends) (also available here) and a female to female adapter(also available here) to connect the 2 cables. Always be sure to match up the plugs color to color.

This is an alternative to the above 1 ft cable. With this you will not need the female to female adapter. You just need a regular stereo cable  (red and white on both ends) (also available here) long enough to reach from your computer to your stereo. The down side of this adapter is that you have to plug everything in and test for right and left sound. If when you turn your balance button to either right or left and sound comes out of the other speaker, you will have to change the plugs around on the adapter.

This is a 1 foot cable basically the same as the adapter above. You will also need a regular stereo cable (red and white on both ends) (also available here) long enough to reach from your computer to your stereo. Again, The down side of this adapter is that you have to plug everything in and test for right and left sound. If when you turn your balance button to either right or left and sound comes out of the other speaker, you will have to change the plugs around on the adapter.

$4.00…..S&H $2.50

………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..

With this one you will need a 3.5 male to male cable (also available here). First you plug the 3.5 cable into your speaker output port on your computer. Then, plug the other end of the 3.5 cable into this cable and the red and white into your stereo.

$4.00…..S&H $2.50
